Eric Hoien, Broker/Owner, CRS, CDPE
Eric is a lifelong resident of the Iowa Great Lakes area and graduated from Spirit Lake schools and Iowa State University. With over 25 years in the real estate profession, you will benefit from his thorough knowledge of the business and the many benefits of real estate ownership. Eric holds the CRS designation (Certified Residential Specialist) which is held by less than 4% of real estate licensees across the country. Blaine Hoien, REALTOR® Emeritus
Blaine started the Blaine Hoien agency in 1952 after realizing that a desk job in the banking industry was not for him. Blaine has seen many changes in the lakes area since moving here after World War II, and has been one of the driving forces of positive change in the Iowa Great Lakes area. Blaine was designated as REALTOR® Emeritus in January 2008 by the Iowa Association of REALTORS® for his 55-plus years of commitment to the real estate industry. Although not actively licensed, Blaine is our 'sounding board' of wisdom, as he has seen almost every real estate situation or market that there is. |
Marilyn Strickland, Broker Associate
Marilyn Strickland is also a lifelong resident of the Iowa Great Lakes having graduated from Arnolds Park along with a dual degree from Westmar College. With close to a quarter of a century in the real estate business (all with Hoien Realty), Marilyn is quick to expound on the many reasons why living in the Iowa Great Lakes is so great. You will benefit from Marilyn's Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI) designation. Marilyn's expertise in the industry is unsurpassed, and yet she finds time to spend on causes she strongly believes in, including the Humane Society, KJIA Christian radio, creating awareness and concern for U.S. veterans and troops, just to name a few. Jodi Miller, Listing/Marketing Manager
Jodi obtained her real estate license in 2004 and has been dedicated to Hoien Realty since 1997. Jodi is a wizard when it comes to tracking listings and making sure that they are forefront in the public eye through our various marketing avenues, which include website maintenance, all printed promotion, along with keeping the Multiple Listing Service information 'up to the minute'. Jodi and husband Jon have one son Andrew and two daughters, Ashley & Anna. Jodi enjoys the YMCA, spending time with her family, and donating time and energy to the Middle School Youth Group at Good News Community Church. Karri Brumley, Closing Coordinator/Office Manager
Karri Brumley joined Hoien Realty in September. She moved to the Iowa Great Lakes in 1994. She will be handling our closings as well as keeping the office running smoothly. She lives in Spirit Lake with her children Hannah and Cole. She enjoys spending time with her family, boating, attending her children's activities and scrapbooking. Marge Gregerson, Public Relations
Marge has been dedicated to Hoien Realty since 2002 and serves as our "can do" person at the office. Whether assisting with a mailing campaign, updating records, or coordinating with the abstract office, Marge is a joy to work with and has great knowledge of the Iowa Great Lakes. She and her husband Don have four grown children and nine grandchildren. Don & Marge enjoy their family time with those close at hand as well as those at a distance. |
